Gene Codes Corporation is Michigan company based in Ann Arbor which specializes in bioinformatics software for genetic sequence analysis. Most notably, after the 9/11 attacks, it contributed to the identification of more than a thousand victims.[2][3][4][5][6]

History

Gene Codes Corporation was founded in 1988 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 1991, its flagship software product, Sequencher, was released. Sequencher 5.4 was released in 2015.[7]
