List of Delta Delta Delta chapters

Delta Delta Delta is a North American collegiate women's fraternity.[1] It was founded on November 27, 1888, at Boston University.[1]

In an August 1912 report published in ‘’The Adelphean’’, Ms. Newell Mason, a faculty member at Wesleyan and Historian for Alpha Delta Pi, noted that “College authorities are violently opposed to sororities.” A ten-year battle was fought by several NPC organizations but lost in 1917 when the last members of its four sororities, Alpha Delta Pi, Phi Mu, Zeta Tau Alpha and Delta Delta Delta graduated.

  41. ^ Chapter began as Sigma Sigma Sigma, established in 1905, and released from that national fraternity because it was not located at a teacher's college. In 1913, it merged with Delta Tau Beta (local), established in 1890. The combined chapter joined Tri Delta in 1914, It closed due to faculty anti-fraternity policies.
