Jesse Shaun Derry (born 30 June 2007) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Chelsea and is an England under-19 international.[2][3]
Club career
Derry was in the youth academy at Crystal Palace and was named Palace’s U-18s player of the season in 2023–24 after scoring 16 goals in 22 appearances.[4] He was offered a new contract by the club, prior to joining Chelsea in 2025 on a four-year contract.[5][6]
As a second-half substitute, Derry debuted for Chelsea on 13 February 2026 during the 4–0 victory against Hull City in the FA Cup fourth round.[7]
International career
Derry is an England youth international, having featured at under-17 and under-18 level.[4][8] He was a member of the squad at the 2025 UEFA European Under-19 Championship and scored in group stage games against Germany and Netherlands.[9][10]
Personal life
He is the son of football manager and former player Shaun Derry.[8]
