On 2025, World Host Group acquired A2 Hosting[4] and rebranded as hosting.com[5] minimizing both previous name.[6] The domain 'hosting.com' was initially unavailable; however, the CEO of hosting.com, Seb De Lemos, acquired the domain for around $2 Million.[7][8]

In August 2023, the company also acquired HostingRaja, an Indian hosting provider offering shared and cloud hosting services to customers across India.

A major acquisition followed in January 2025, when World Host Group acquired A2 Hosting,[15][16] a long-established web hosting provider founded in the United States.[17] Following the acquisition,[18] plans were announced to rebrand[19] the business under the hosting.com name. World Host Group rebranded[20] as hosting.com in May 2025.[21]

In April 2025, the company acquired FastComet,[22] a hosting provider with customers in multiple international markets, as part of its broader expansion strategy.[23]
