Finding Emily is an upcoming British romantic comedy film directed by Alicia MacDonald, written by Rachel Hirons, and produced by Working Title Films.
Premise
When a lovesick musician is given the wrong number for his dream girl, he teams up with a driven psychology student to find her. Together, they spark a hilarious campus-wide frenzy that tests their own hearts and ambitions along the way.

Production
The film is directed by Alicia MacDonald, written by Rachel Hirons, and produced by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner for Working Title Films. Olivier Kaempfer is producing for Parkville. Focus Features has worldwide distribution rights.[2]
The cast is led by Angourie Rice and Spike Fearn and also includes Ella Maisy Purvis.[3][4] Principal photography took place in Manchester between August and September 2024.[5][6]
Release
Finding Emily is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United Kingdom on May 22, 2026, and in the United States on August 28.[7][8]
